Community Impact - Recreation

Now more than ever, people are looking for ways to maximize the benefits of their free time, and the CCDA recognizes the importance of recreational options and venues in achieving this goal. Whether it is engaging in physical fitness activities, exploring the natural wonders of the outdoors, or viewing live entertainment performances, the types of activities that we all pursue are as varied as our personalities. The CCDA is a proud contributor to the vast array of recreational opportunities available in Clinton County – from seats and stages to parks and playgrounds – we do our best to help provide the fun things in life for our citizens.

β€œThe City of DeWitt Parks & Recreation Department is very appreciative of the funding provided by the Clinton County Development Association to help extend the Paul Skeffington Memorial Trail at Westbrook Park. The trail is a tremendous asset to our community and certainly improves our quality of life. Thank you.”
